Opened in 2022, Bərdə Qadın Resurs Mərkəzi has more than 600 women registered as members. 15 women have already built their small businesses. The Center provided psychological, legal, and social services support to over 800 women.
Thanks to vocational training in various fields such as computer skills, accounting, tailoring and etc., sale exhibitions and many other events of the Center, women of Barda were able to improve themselves, socialize and contribute to their communities. Women and girls were supported through job fairs and career opportunities.
Here is an overview video of the work done by Barda Women’s Resource Center in 2022.
The video was produced within the “Empowering and creating equal opportunities for vulnerable, conflict-affected women in Azerbaijan to overcome barriers towards greater economic and social participation (ECEO)” project implemented by UNDP and SCFWCA with the support of the UK Government.
